Tschanz, Frédéric, Dr.
Bio
Frédéric Tschanz originally trained as a mechanic at the Lehrwerkstätten der Stadt Bern. He then studied mechanical engineering at the Hochschule für Technik und Informatik in Biel/Bienne. Upon graduation, he spent two years working as a design engineer for an engineering company specializing in machining technologies. In 2006 he enrolled at ETH Zurich to study for a Master`s degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a specialization in automatic control and system dynamics.
He continued his studies and in 2012 completed a PhD at the IDSC at ETH Zurich. The focus of research during the PhD was on feedback control of the pollutant emissions from diesel engines.
