Dejan Milojevic is a postdoctoral researcher in Prof. Emilio Frazzoli's group at the Institute for Dynamic Systems and Control at ETH Zürich. He received his Ph.D. in robotics, affiliated with both the Institute for Dynamic Systems and Control at ETH Zürich and the Chemical Energy Carriers and Vehicle Systems Laboratory at Empa. He obtained his BSc. and MSc. in Mechanical Engineering from ETH Zürich. Dejan has conducted research at Stanford University under the supervision of Prof. Marco Pavone and has professional experience as a software engineer at Vay in Berlin, Germany. His research focuses on the co-design of embodied intelligence systems, with a particular interest in sensor selection and placement. In the broader context of mobile robots, he explores perception, decision-making, and control. Dejan is also keen on advancing uncertainty estimation and explainable AI within machine learning.
Research projects:
- Automated Driving Sensor Test Vehicle: Spearheaded project operations and stakeholder presentations for the project with partners including ASTRA, AXA, Embotech, ETH Zürich, Lexus, METAS, Orthotec and TCS.
